Pastor Kennard M. Weever is a man whose heart is bent towards God. He is a native of Guyana, South America. One of eight children, he was born to Cedric & Eileen Weever. He has an extraordinary passion for all people, especially youth, single individuals, and men of God. His passion is to see lost people saved and saved people grow. Rev.Weever has a strong desire to cultivate leaders and motivate believers to evangelize the lost and be all God has called us to be. He leads by example and is dedicated to the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ.
 
As a minister, he is able to communicate the Word of God in a Biblical and relevant way to reach the lost, and address the needs of growing Christians in a way that is understood by all ages and cultures.

Pastor Weever first accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1991 while yet a young man at the Second Baptist Church of Atlantic City, New Jersey. He then accepted his call to the ministry in 1996 and has been on the battlefield ever since. This man of God is a strong teacher of the truth of God’s Word without compromise. His preaching and teaching style has encouraged others to embrace and develop their God-given gifts, and not be afraid of failure. His motto is, “Success is failure turned inside out, and God allows second chances."

He was educated in the Atlantic City and Pleasantville, New Jersey school systems. His college years were spent at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. A short time in ministry preparation was spent at the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia, and Campbell University Divinity School in Buies Creek, North Carolina.  He’s currently completing a master in counseling degree at Seton Hall University in East Orange, New Jersey.

Pastor Kennard Weever served as chairman of the junior deacon ministry at Greater Exodus Baptist Church in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He also served as Youth Minister at Rainbow Park Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia, and on the ministerial and leadership staff of New Life Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia under the leadership of senior Pastor Marlin D. Harris. He also served as Youth Pastor at Baptist Grove Church, Raleigh, North Carolina. Pastor Kennard Weever is a member of the board of directors of Women of Vision, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia; TCC Ministries of Raleigh, North Carolina and the Pleasantville School District Alumni Association. In 2007, He was nominated and inducted into the Madison Who’s Who for business and professional leaders.  Pastor Weever currently serves as the senior pastor of the newly organized Ray of Hope Family Worship Center Church - a Different Kind of Church with a Kingdom Focus.

Pastor Kennard Weever is dedicated and devoted to his gift from God in the person of his wife, Mrs. Esung G. Weever, whom he lovingly refers to as his “Princess”. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Genesis Odette and Essence Marlene. They currently reside in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
